Pakistan is a young nation, with 64% of its population under the age of 30. Unfortunately, millions of these young individuals are unable to reach their full potential due to a lack of guidance, resources, and opportunities. With approximately 70 million youth aged 15 to 29 facing significant challenges, unemployment stands as the most pressing issue. Every year, 2 million young people enter the job market,but most struggle to find work. In response to this pressing need, Alkhidmat Foundation launched the Bano Qabil IT Scholarship Program in 2022, starting in Karachi.
The primary goal of the Bano Qabil program is to equip Pakistan’s youth with modern IT skills, enabling them to improve their quality of life and secure respectable employment to support their families. So far, over 50,000 young individuals have completed IT courses through the Bano Qabil Program. Following the unprecedented success of Bano Qabil in Karachi, the program has now been expanded to Lahore to provide employment opportunities to more young people. Bano Qabil offers free IT courses in Digital Marketing, Graphic Designing, Web Development and Freelancing.
